About the Circle
An events studio for the part of a city you cannot draw on a plan.
Creative Circle Bangkok designs exhibition-style and interactive events across the city — architecture walks along the Chao Phraya, sketch circles in cat cafés and parks, and online reflection workshops that run across half a dozen time zones.
The through-line is always the same. People are given a small creative task, a short amount of time, and a reason to show someone else what they made. What comes back is rarely about the drawing.
In an age where technology makes us more efficient, we still need spaces that make us more human. That is the whole brief, and the reason the studio exists.

Founder & Creative Director
Pim trained and works in architecture, and started the Circle from a straightforward observation: the buildings she was taught to design are only half of what makes a place. The other half is who you were standing next to, and what you remember about it afterwards.
An exchange year in Bolivia is the reason Circle 06 was held in Spanish, and a reasonable summary of how the studio works: the events come out of her own life, and then get opened to everyone else.

Exhibition-style
Every Circle ends with something made and something shown. The Mini Exhibition Box — a tiny gallery each participant builds and shares — is the studio's signature.

Interactive by design
Nobody watches. Sessions are built around drawing, walking, mapping and talking, so a room of strangers has something to do together before it has something to say.

Everyone is welcome
No drawing experience. No Spanish. No particular language. Sessions run in English with Thai translation, and the sharing round is always optional.
